Okay

So maybe for those of you who didn't hear (I doubt that somehow) I am applying for a supervisor position! I already sent all my stuff in now all I have to do is basically write an essay about my time and contributions as a supervisor at whole foods! so i'm almost there! i'm so excited! I don't think i'm nervous about the phone interview, but maybe that'll change while the phone is ringing! I don't get to bring buddha and ming mingyton :( :( :( :( :( :( :( i'm sad...I took them on a really long walk yesterday and boy let me tell you, when those puppies go into public they brighten EVERYONES day...anyhow...i'm going to go pick a grapefuit and eat it for breaky! YUMMY! love you all....

Hey y'all. Kelly & Kirk - nice web site. Should we move over there? Also, just a little "mom-thing", has everyone gone through the clothes, shoes, etc. in the yellow room? I want to get rid of that stuff before too long. I got the big room cleaned and organized - sort of - and want to finish up the other rooms. Keri & Katie, you still have miscellaneous stuff - papers, folders, school books, etc. What do you want done with that? That's all for now. Kelly, keep up informed on how things are going. It's true! It's true!

sorelated.com was inspired by me! and you guys of course! (read the 'about' section) When I started this blog I had mentioned to Kirk that the only thing I didn't like about it was that it was public, and could be accessed by anyone. And Kirk thought it was a good idea to make a blog for families! hence sorelated.com! i'm not entirley sure if it's ready yet, but it's defiantly coming along! my Kirky is schoooo smarty pants! and you guys will have to help out by letting him know what things he can improve ect.
On another note, a position opened at one of the Ann Arbor stores! I e-mailed the lady today and we'll just have to see what happens, it's not the position or the store I originally wanted, but I know that the guy from cranbrook is interested in me being a supervisor, he just doesn't tknow when, So I think I am going to try to get this position then hopefully, sooner then later, get promoted! Which means I might actually move home sooner then later! and Kirk is getting ready too! (he's already found a farm he wants to work on (??) I don't know...what a weirdo!
It's been cold the last couple days I actually forgot what it was like to not want to pump gas!!!!!! I might be a little soft though because it was like 70 degrees...: \ i'm going to have to get my ohio skin back!
Not long ago me and my friend Alicia went to this place called shy wolf sanctuary. It is literallya womans back yard (about two acres) completely transformed into a maze of cages with differents packs of wolves, and "wolf dogs" Actually, dogs and wolves are technically the same species, so I guess it could be dog dogs? or maybe wolf wolves? anyway, she has about forty of them now, all of them rescued from abausive situations...also including a leopard/jaguar a couple of panthers and other smaller animals, it's really neat and she does it all completely out of love, because she has dedicated her life to it...no job, just wolves! anyway I wanted to share these pictures with you guys becaus they're beautiful!This is what it looks like...

Hi Everyone! tt- I really like the first wedding dress on your picks! it's soo pretty...I noticed all the styles you had for the wedding dresses were similar and that is the one I like best! also I like the last one for the bridesmaids dresses...I thought it was really classy and I thought it could be complimented with a cute hat!

Ummm, I didn't realize this was "Katie's wedding blog." Aren't we allowed to write about anything else?

Of course you know I am just kidding!! HeHe. Katie, I am definitely okay with whatever dress you pick out, no matter how much it costs. Just remember that my boobies are big and I will definitely need to be very choosy about what dress I pick.

And yes, big birthdays! Can't wait for my 30th! We will have to do something BIG!

Dresses...

So...Here's my thoughts about bridesmaid dresses. I was looking at David's Bridal on line and I really like the idea of all you girls having a different style of dress but having them all the same color. I guess the biggest question is how much you girls are willing to pay for the dress. The most those dresses cost was $135 and a few were $105. If that's too much then we'll have to find something else but I thought some of the styles were really cute. P.S. Did anyone realize how many big birthdays are coming up this year?! Dad's 60th, Erin's 30th, Kelly's 21st, Nate's 10th, and apparently Dickey's 30th too! We have alot to celebrate this year :) And we can't forget Mom and Dad's 35th Wedding Anniversary!

Wow! TT!

TT, I didn't realize until the other day that your wedding was THIS year. I thought it was in 2010, but Erica corrected me. August 1st eh? That's Dickey's birthday, his 30th birthday no less. Of course my sisters wedding comes first. I was just talking to him and informed him that it was going to be this year rather than next. He then asked the date, which I hadn't even realized at that point that it was his birthday. He gave me a little whiney voice but of course he was only joking around.

When will we be getting our dresses? Have you found any cheaper ones that you liked?

Oh Yeah!

Kirks dad has like three cars, and he doesn't use them all, one of them being a nice honda...I might get that from him! Sweet! his dad is freaking out about the economy so he might start selling everything! we'll see!

Kelly - that does sound promising! I hope it happens. Of course, we're expecting 4" - 9" of snow overnight! Right now the snow has stopped, but streets are pretty slippery. Just think, there you are in sunny Bonita Springs and here we are in brrrrrrrrrrr's ville! Seriously! Just keep checking with that guy and let him know how special you are and what a good worker you are (and that you need a new car!) and he'll keep you in mind. Good luck Beany, bean, bean! UPDATE! ALERT! UPDATE! ALERT!

Soooo...yeterday I contacted the guy from whole foods again (the guy who would be my boss) and asked him again about any positions...he said still no for right now but...! he said the next position he wants to hire for is a supervisor!! which would be me!! I think that I have a pretty good chance of getting it because I have two years experience, I have been asking for a couple months, I will have many people to give me good references, I don't want to brag or anything buuut everyone here loves me! also I am the Green mission rep which is good annnnd last month I was the customer service team member of the month! He's not sure when he wants to hire for this position but he knows that I am waiting around for it so I think he'll hire me sooner then later. Now I don't want to jump the gun because to be fair he has to interview everyone who wants it...but i'm going to keep my fingers crossed! It would be so cool if I could tranfer with my title cause I wouldn't have a pay cut! yaay! I emailed him again last night so hopefully I will have some more info today! i'll update later!

More Details

So our wedding date has been set for August 1, 2009. It'll be a day wedding, so kinda like Erin's but a little earlier. The ceremony will be at somewhere around 11:30 or Noon most likely at Prout Chapel, then to the golf course for the reception from 12:30ish to 3 or 4:30ish. As you can tell, the timeline still needs to be decided! Also, I'm gonna be making an appointment at some point in time to go try in dresses at Gallippos Bridal Inc. If anyone wants to come, you're more than welcome. As for bridesmaid dresses, that yellow Jim Hjelm dress that I posted on here is $250 at Gallippos! I didn't think you girls would want to spend that much so I started looking at Macy's, Dillards, Ann Taylor and such places for cute summer dresses so if any of you get time, take a look and see if there's anything you like. I think that's all the newest information. I'll keep you all up date

I want to wish everyone a wonderful new year. 2009 should be wonderful - Bean coming home (hopefully with a job with Wholefoods!) and Katie getting married. Once we settle on a date for the wedding - we'll have to kick it up into high gear! There are a lot of weddings - Molly, Teddy, Nick & Haley, Katie & Tom, and who knows who else. Everyone - ENJOY LIFE! Mom
